• ART CATALOG is a site which provides a directory of over 3,000 artists and galleries depicting their work. A useful site if you wish to view the major works of an individual artist.

• A site featuring Horse Clip Art to embellish a gift of your own making, create gift tags, or for some other purpose, is Pleasure Gait Farms, We are particularly indebted to the folks at Pleasure Gait Farms for making their clip art available to us to use as graphics on this site and we suggest you pay them a visit if you have needs along this line.

• Dana Bauer's whimsical watercolor and ink art has appeared in Horse Illustrated, Horse & Rider, Young Rider, Saddle & Bridle, and The Arabian Horse Times. Dana's art spans most riding styles, various breeds of horses and has been sold nationwide including at the American Saddle Horse Museum ( Kentucky Horse Park), and the Appaloosa Horse Museum & Heritage Center. You'll get a kick out of her offerings which you can find at Dana's Doodles Horse Art.

• We're extremely impressed with the paintings of Finnish artist Leena Pekkalainen. Leena is from Turku, the oldest city in Finland.

  Turku is noted for its 13th century castle and cathedral and is home to the Jan Sibelius Museum.

  Leena is self-taught and has been painting horses for most of her life. She recently ventured into the world of art shows where her paintings have received international recognition.

  Like many equine artists she loves horses and enjoys meeting with their owners. For commissioned works she will work from photographs although her preference is to see the horse "in person". Not a problem if you live near Turku - a bit of a problem if you live in Montana.
